ARGON GAS DRYERS
Argon gas is created in large Air Separation Plants.
The argon from the “cold box” is typically referred to as “crude argon”. This means the gas quality needs improved.
The crude argon contains a small percentage of oxygen.
PSB argon deoxo units will catalytically remove the oxygen via H2 injection, which is then converted to water vapor.
This is where the PSB Argon Gas Dryer is needed to remove water vapor.
