Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Gas, a greenhouse gas, is a byproduct of H2 production plants, petroleum refining processes, flue gas emissions from power generation, and other sources. Carbon capture and storage (CCS) is a means of capturing and removing CO2 from large sources and storing it away from the atmosphere by sequestration or using it for enhanced oil recovery. Why dry CO2? Removing moisture from the CO2 stream prevents corrosion of carbon steel pipelines.
Typical inlet conditions of CO2 at the dryer inlet are 200-800 psig, 80-110 °F, 80-300 MMSCFD. PSB's Carbon Dioxide Dryer Skid typically achieves a -40 °F dew point through Temperature Swing Adsorption (TSA). Contact PSB with your specific operating conditions.
